MANAGEMENT PROFILES

Larry Kristof (President & CEO)

Larry Kristof joined Mantra Ventures and Mantra Energy as our President and Chief Executive Officer upon leaving the same post at Lexington Energy Services Inc. (“Lexington”), which he had held since October 1, 2005. Mr Kristof had co-founded Lexington in 2003, and successfully built the company from concept through assets of over $7 million. In addition, he raised over $10 million on public markets for Lexington. Under Mr. Kristof’s direction, Lexington designed and commercialized innovative mobile drilling rigs and nitrogen generation technologies.

Dennis Petke (CFO)

Mr. Petke is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (1995). Currently serving as a director and/or chief financial officer for a number of private and public companies, his responsibilities include strategic and overall financial management for these companies. Mr. Petke has accumulated extensive experience in the area of corporate finance, including negotiating and implementing private and public company mergers, as well as facilitating private placement, preference share, convertible debenture, special warrant and debt financings.

John P. Russell (VP)

Mr. Russell has a lifetime of experience in sourcing new technologies and working with companies to bring these technologies to the marketplace. He has authored several scientific publications and attended many scientific conferences where he has presented technological innovations. As head of Mantra’s “Technology Pipeline” John will use his skills to find innovative technologies that fit Mantra’s mission and also review their applicability in the chosen industry field. His review will also include an economic evaluation that will help to determine future profitability.

Dan Funaro (VP, Global Business Development)

Dan is the founder and CEO of the Euro-Pacific Development Group, a developer of award winning quality residential and commercial properties. Currently developing in excess of 150 multi-family homes yearly. Dan has a breadth of experience at all facets of the development business including land use study and acquisition, governmental and municipal compliance, marketing and sales, finance and co-ordination of construction of multiple concurrently running projects.

MEMBERS:

Grant Sawiak (Partner, Chair - Securities Laws Group Fogler Rubinoff, Toronto)

Grant has extensive experience in virtually all aspects of securities law including public and private financings, take-over bids, stock exchange matters, Canada and U.S. regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions and reverse take-overs, and listings and financings on stock exchanges in Canada, the United States and Europe.

Grant has had a distinguished legal career which includes chairing a panel of prominent securities lawyers retained by the Senate of Canada Standing Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce to draft a report on the economic advisability of establishing a federal system of securities regulation in Canada.

Dr. Kevin Wainwright (Lecturer, Masters of Public Policy, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver)

Kevin has a distinguish career in academics and has undertaken numerous external assignments that have broadened has expertise. He is also the author of several books on economics.

Peter Walton (Business man, Vancouver)

Prior to retirement, Peter served as a director of the Hong Kong Bank of Canada for many years where he chaired the Audit Committee and Committees on Tax and Credit. Peter currently serves on several other Boards of Diirectors and was a senior partner with Peat Marwick, Mitchell.

MEMBERS:

Colin Oloman (Professor Emeritus in Chemical and Biological Engineering, University of British Columbia)

Colin is a Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia, Canada, with a substantial record of publications and patents, mostly in the area of electrochemical engineering. He presently conducts research work at the U.B.C. Clean Energy Research Centre involving electro-synthesis and electrochemical power generation (fuel cells).Colin was instrumental in bringing the Electroreduction of Carbon Dioxide to Mantra and is active in the development of this technology and project.

Dr Edward J Anthony (Senior Researcher, Clean Fossil Fuels and Power Generation CETC – Ottawa)

Dr Anthony has a substantial record of publications and research in clean power generation. Some of his recent projects have involved: a major gasification demonstration program; hosting a recent conference on CO2 capture; and fluidized bed combustion consulting. Power from combustion will not quickly disappear from industrial use. Dr Anthony will guide Mantra as it works with the clean technologies that will modify the impact of existing power generation techniques, making them cleaner and greener.
