Griffin Announces Nuclear Power Plant Waste Incinerator Baghouse Catalytic Filter Bag Order
Syracuse, NY October 29, 2008 - (OTC: CTEI) Griffin Filters, an air filtration systems and bulk material handling equipment manufacturer, today announced a large order for catalytic filter bags for two of its nuclear power plant waste incinerator baghouses. These baghouses and the associated incinerator system are located in an overseas power plant and used to collect the ash from the incineration of common waste materials generated in the plant. The catalytic filters will be installed in 2009.
"The catalytic filter bags will further reduce hazardous emissions generated during incineration" - said Tom Graziano, Executive Vice President at Griffin Filters.
Griffin Filters LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cemtrex Inc and serves the worldwide industrial and concrete markets providing innovative designs for air pollution control applications in addition to solids processing and product recovery applications. Griffin has a large array of standard collectors and custom designed collectors that include high temperature applications to 1600º F and modular designs for unlimited airflow.
